Hello, first of all, thank you so much for your in-depth review. Your work is amazing and you can tell that you love it. I would like to ask for some help. I am a therapist looking for a really good sound for my therapy sessions (OVER ZOOM or Google Meet, which I imagine will compress the signal a lot). I would like for the mic to be out of the frame. Also, the room is not treated. I am wondering if I should buy the S Mic 3S + an audio interface (I have seen the U-Phoria UMC202HD), if it would be better to get the MKH600 or if you would recommend saving some money and trouble and use the Rode Videomic NTG and not even buying the audio interface. I am sorry, my question is so long. Thank you so much and have a nice day.

0:30 - painfully true, idek what gain is and all I'm doing is trying to upgrade my mic(so that my audio doesn't hurt my friend's ears). I'm hearing creators are setting their gain to 4 o'clock or something in their reviews and it's all just so over my head. Like I can't tell you the difference between a Shure SM7B & a Shure MV7X outside of the price tag & my budget really wants me to be able to explain a 200$ price difference before dropping 400$. So thanks for the video, Allen, it's been a great jumping off point.

I had the same problem, but after I went into sound theme and muted most of them, all annoying "continues non-stop clicking sounds" are gone forever

And I also got a Bluetooth Logitech Z407 speaker set, which I thought was the main problem of my crackling and popping etc. but you are a lifesaver you were absolutely correct. I just clicked on my device manager and disable everything that I didn’t need except for the logitech Z407. and low in freaking behold!, it worked🥹🙏🏾 #ThanxBro

my issue showed up after plugging my audio rig back in after doing a live show. I plugged a different cable in to my mixer than what was there before, and noticed i had it crossed right over the power cord. i put the better cable into the mixer and moved it away from the power cord and haven't hard a pop since.

mine has a buzzing\electricity sound whenever i boot up any type of game like in menus but the buzzing sound disappears whenever there's sound made in the game like ambient sounds , but no sound whatsoever when i use chrome... any idea how to fix this?

That is a great review. Many good shotgun microphones are in the US$300-$400 price range. How does the Deity Microphones S-Mic 3 ($399) compare to the Sennheiser MKH 600 ($290)?

I obviously don't run a studio, but I will tell you if you are making an ultra low budget film, California charges a ridiculously high fee for a simple limited liability company (LLC), $800 per calender year. An LLC's main advantage is liability protection, i.e. your personal assets are not at risk for something terrible goes wrong (like hiring Alec Baldwin to do a western). But if your budget is $8,000, the LLC is already 10% of your budget. So obviously, you don't want to do two separate calender years, as that would cost you $1,600. The studios probably look at similar costs as well. Sorry you're not working. How terrible!

hey i need help opening my device manager it says the snap in below refernced in this document has been restricted by policy contact your adminstrator for details. Device Manager then when clicking ok it says the mmc cannot create the snap in because of current user policies
